Aruba - Week 2

Today is Wednesday, the second week in Aruba. The weeks are just flying by. Yesterday we had heavy rain from a tropical storm nearby. Even when it is raining it is warm.

Since our last blog we have played 18 holes of golf on a beautiful course in Aruba (minigolf but still golf none the less)

We ate at a beautiful restaurant by the lighthouse a few days ago. The views were fantastic and the food and atmosphere were wonderful. On the way home a huge crab was crossing the road and posed beautifully so we could take a picture.

Day before yesterday we took a jeep tour to the other side of the island and saw what used to be the natural bridge (collapsed in 2005 but there is another one forming due to the tremendously large waves crashing there. We saw a lot of wild goats on the tour. There were some very rocky roads we needed to take on the jeep tour. Dennis drove one of the jeeps so he was pleased about that.

We came home from shopping and visiting the casino yesterday $10 richer. Now we think we should be able to stay here longer.

The sun is almost shining now so we are headed out to enjoy it. Bye for now.
